[Heliosphere: UtS] Pluto is a planet again!

... Not. Everybody is excited that Pluto is a planet again, but actually he's not officially declared by IAU just yet. He is still considered a dwarf planet, and debates still continue as to what his real planetary state is.

There's still an ongoing debate (it just heated up again recently, but many argue that Pluto IS a planet), but as of now Pluto is still what we call a dwarf planet.

Character-wise, Eris up there is his sister who brought him down with this newly-coined term almost a decade ago. Now both siblings are dwarf planets along with the Asteroid Ceres, and the two other Kuiper Belt inhabitants Haumea and Makemake.

FUN FACT
Eris is considered the twin of Pluto, as Earth is to Venus. Eris was briefly considered the Solar System's tenth planet, but shortly after its discovery the term "dwarf planet" was coined after discovering that there were more Pluto-like bodies out there.
