I was so caught up in the moment of researching about planets and well, let's say I'm limiting my research to Solar System because here alone, there are a lot of unsolved and unexplained mysteries. Maybe someday I'll actually work on some exoplanets next! But that will be pretty far away from now.

So recently I've been looking for stuff about Triton, Neptune's largest and most dominant moon. The theories favoured about him intrigues me; they say he was a Kuiper Belt body, even as mentioned in the NASA site. But some sources say that he used to be a binary planet.

That's right, he used to have a partner like Charon and Pluto! Some sources say that this was even backed up by NASA, though it wasn't clearly stated in the site, so I don't know what to think about it. I'll probably go with the idea, though. (*^▽^*)

Here are some Neptunian moon sketches: ( Tumblr link: may-jasmine.tumblr.com/post/93… )

Triton

The tallest moon of Neptune as well as considered the most powerful one, he is dominant over Kai’s other moons. However, this does not mean he’s following Kai’s orders. He is actually a rebel, harbouring a certain hatred for Kai himself. It was rumoured that he was once an inhabitant of the Kuiper Belt, but then Kai managed to hold him hostage as a moon. Some say he was mad with Kai by merely capturing him, others say there was more to this…

Nereid

Nereid is the third tallest among all the moons. She is by far, one of the moons that show quite some independence. Other moons need constant attention from Kai, but Nereid can go for around half an earth year serving Helios. Nobody really knows if she had always been with Kai from the beginning, or if she was from the Kuiper Belt or the Asteroid Belt once. Kai may know, but he’s not speaking anything about this.

Proteus

Proteus is the second tallest next to Triton, and is very demure in contrast to the larger moon. A soft-spoken, shy individual, he tends to keep close to his host planet and serving him in silence. In fact, it was why others weren’t aware of his presence in the first place. He seems to have an especially high respect for Triton and Kai, though he respects everyone in general.

So right now, I'm still looking into Uranian moons; apparently they're named after characters of literary pieces like Shakespeare! But it seems like I strayed a bit from taking a look at Uranian facts, and... I don't know how I arrived to learn about these hypothetical Nemesis and Planet X or from what I hear, Nibiru.

It's purely hypothetical at this point; nobody has actually seen it nor proved it exists, but people say that something is affecting the Kuiper Belt (Mei and Charon's home) as well as Neptune and Uranus' gravitation... but nothing is proven yet. Some say there is something lurking out there, out to get Earth!

From what I read, there were even some theories by historians (I just saw this from one source, so I have yet to look into it more) that there was a planet once called Tiamat. What had become of Tiamat? A fancy shmancy belt branded ASTEROID. That's right, they say that the Asteroid Belt was once Tiamat, and one half of its remains is what Phobos is (would this explain his yandere complex idk but that was pretty interesting)

Anyways, I have only seen this a few hours ago, so I have yet to look more into this. Has anyone actually read about these? From Nemesis, to Niburu... they mention apocalyptic references to it, but then again, nobody can really tell what apocalypse is like so just be prepared. For me? Gotta live each day happily!

All this talk about Niburu just sparked interest that it could be OHOHO great story material! But then again these are just theories mostly based on ancient Sumerian text, I hear. The more sources the better!

... This is actually a huge headache. :iconorzplz:
Truth be told, I just wanted a Pluto gijinka but I ended up making the whole set and now this! Space is such a wonderful thing, full of mysteries! As a mystery lover, space was just beautiful to explore. Then again the sudden rush of information and everlasting curiosity... dear me! I guess this is why I love Alice.

Back to space matters, has anybody heard of anything about this? I'd love to hear what you think about it! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
