Weird dream! Investigation of the monster!

I swear I'm using this journal skin because I actually had a weird dream! Not because I'm down.

... Okay, maybe I am. JUST A BIT. Because I'm getting over some things.

They say that if you lack sleep, then your brain will project the craziest dreams. Now let's start with that weird dream shall we?

I'm not sure how it started, but what I do know is that we were solving mysteries in an urban town. And there was a big tower of a building that was the most suspicious that we always investigate.

Now the tower looked very modern a big building. Actually the setting looked scifi. Now the inside was very scifi and nothing was suspicious about it. It looked like your typical scifi setting, but I don't recall any people in it except for us, though it didn't look abandoned.

I think it was because it was manned by machines? I think.

Now I know that it was a week-long investigation. I had no idea what we were investigating about UNTIL. Until that fifth day of the investigation (as far as I could remember) one of our superiors said that as they were investigating, they found a cab where there was a major strike on the driver. There were HUGE puncture holes, and it looks like the driver got smacked pretty badly that he was barely recognisable.

They were still investigating when I think, I was Yuri Lowell (Tales of Vesperia) in the investigation and I said it was my turn to investigate things with my partner. My partner looked like Estelle (in the same game)

When we went in, things were in a disarray as we went further. Not sure if we did go higher in the building, though. Then...

With a little warning, that's when we found out what this was all about, and how that cab driver met his grisly fate.

THERE WAS A GIANT TREE MONSTER BIGGER THAN THE TOWER ITSELF, AND IT SAW US AND TRIED TO KILL US.

And what codename did we give it? DEKU TREE.

The tree monster, from what I can remember, was tall, slender, and quite vividly brown. It had long limbs and it had no leaves from what I saw. It had evil eyes and jagged teeth that seemed to have merged with its mouth. If you saw the Powerpuff Girls episode with the evil broccolis, it SORT OF resembled that, but not exactly. And much scarier.

It summoned its minions to get my partner and I, but I think from that time on I was a spectator. I can see Yuri and Estelle run away, or people who resemble them greatly anyways. There were a lot of minions behind them, and in front of them looked like there were traps, but they narrowly managed to escape and run from the monster.

As they ran to the city, that was when it felt like I was Yuri again. We were talking in a panic while running that we should immediately tell our headquarters about this, but we must make it quick so the "villagers would be alerted". (it felt like that's what we really said). The place where we ran looked like a mall with many stalls; we were finding ours, it was our headquarters.

A villager and her child overheard this (she looked like a normal typical person, quite chubby, wearing a vivid hot pink shirt, and possibly a tower around her neck and holding her child's hand). She asked us what this was all about, and we just calmly told her to rush home, get what they need like food and clothing, then rush back here for the centre.

After that? She was actually quite calm; though she understood what I said. It was because we chose not to tell anyone about the tree wrecking havoc in the city. After that, I remember the scene shifted to us going to the centre; like an evacuation centre. They say all the city people went there to be safe as they were informed of the tree.

While in the centre, we saw different people. I think I was expecting to see one of my online friends there but I didn't. I was quite fine with that, anyway. In one corner where a lot of people came in while we were checking them, there was... I don't know which Pope this is, but he looked like a very kind Pope. The people were so happy to see him that they took pictures with him. But being humble and that everyone could die at any moment, the Pope sat on the floor with the people and smiled with them.

I wanted to take pictures too, but more important matters press at hand, and I didn't get the chance to because there were too many people. People who just came in were awed and asked him to have a picture taking with them.

I was just in one corner, seeing that most people were safe by now. People acted quite normally. Some of us peeked through the windows to see if things were going fine. There was this local TV host of ours that I found cute, and he seemed like he knew me as a friend. It didn't feel weird. After a while, he stood up and I was like "where are you going?" though I didn't follow him all the way.

What he did was he blew green powder in front of people's faces, especially for those who sat in the first row.

For you see, the centre was something like a stadium. The stadium levels were very low, such that it was as low as a flight of stairs. But the levels were as wide as for as much as five people to sit consecutively from front to back.

The green powder made the people sneeze; I was fine with it, but some people got mad with him. A guy was threatening to punch him in the face saying, "NOW WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"

Until a guy from the audience defended him and averted the topic by saying he has a special condition that we may be interested in. From certain views, he looks like he's tall, but from other views, his height changes. The TV host even said that it's true; and that he even went as far as to chart his height when he was facing his side, and when he was facing front.

There was a train behind them the whole time where he demonstrated writing with a chalk to prove his point with his height, but nobody, not even I, seemed to care. The train was military green and did not move anyways.

After that, I think some more scenes of how the villagers and I acted in the centre happened. I even told the TV host when we had all calmed down, that we must turn off everything once the monster's in sight. Turn everything off; totally off. Unplug everything, don't leave things in sleep mode. Turn off the lights. Because the monster may sense energy. Surely enough the monster was in view, destroying things in the distance, with a factory and its black smoke coming out as in a frantic display. I was wondering if people there weren't informed... or if it wasn't manned by people, as I thought upon waking up.

What I remember last about this was when I turned off my calculator and it displayed some sentences about random friends' sentences to each other and something like "goodbye", as a calculator would tell me before going off.

The next scene, I was in my room as myself. But I saw that the tree was still wrecking havoc even in my own city (which looked different and bigger). I rushed downstairs to tell my mum about it, but she wasn't at all affected much. I turned off all the lights (there seemed to be Christmas lights and a Christmas tree), it was hard to close all of them when in a panic. Some just wouldn't go off.

That's when we all heard a rumble and that's when we panicked. I told one of the people in our house (I have no idea who she is) to be careful because the monster's coming. She took it quite lightly, but I ran off to tell other people. When we went out of the house to escape, I found out the tree was already there... and that he had apparently shrunk to a giant human size, enough to fit in the first floor of our house.

He was stuck behind our telly, but he managed to get out. Then all the people ( have no idea where they came from) including my dad who had just gotten home I think, were staring at him. I thought the tree was gonna kill them, until some people actually tried talking to the tree.

Apparently my dad calmed the tree down and even told it of me, to which the tree smiled at me with its jagged teeth. I was scared, but the tree didn't harm me.

After that, I could vaguely remember but I think we were already having a mini feast because there were food! The tree was already humanoid back then, but still has monstrous features. It can talk.

From that point on, I think the scene soon shifted to when I was in a fastfood restaurant. Things were going okay, the tree was actually socialising with my friends who I don't even know. I just know they're friends. I think I went to order a drink, because they forgot to serve my drink.

Now I went to the counter and asked for a drink, and some people looked like actors; from what I remember, the person who was supposed to be serving me looked like Vin Diesel, but all he did was take my drink order, forgot about it, and then played an old-school game that looked 8-bit.

What was strange is that we can PERFECTLY SEE what he was playing. It displayed on a human-sized hologram, and it looked like it starred him or Schwarzenegger. I talked to another person on the counter, and that was when there was a little confusion and they tried to tell Vin Diesel to get my order.

I waited some five minutes before I got my order. After that, I found out that there was a mix-up so they didn't get to give me my order. I was curious, not ticked off, so I went behind their counter which they didn't oppose.

Behind the counter was actually as huge as a small convenient store, and unusually clean. The layout was strange for a fastfood counter. Vin Diesel was there, asking me if pop with a little dash of marshmallows with... green powder that resembled wasabi, was okay. The pop looked weird; it looked quite orange from what I remembered.

Some of my friends (idk where they came from), tried it out for themselves. At first it tasted okay, but later on it didn't, and I told him I wanted a regular pop. To which he did try to get my order.

I was once more, in front of the counter, this time with a cousin waiting with me. Then she told me that she showed doodled a picture of Estelle's glasses and that she shipped her with Yuri. Me? I respectfully told her I COULDN'T ship Yuri with Estelle; not that I had anything against Estelle but I couldn't ship them. It didn't even occur to me she wasn't interested in games in real life.

I'm not sure when my order came to me, nor did I actually remember that I was drinking my pop fro that point on, but what I do remember is that, there was a really weird segment I couldn't remember when it happened.

Anyway, that's the bulk of my crazy dream. I decided I'd write it while it still stuck to my head very vividly. So... what do you guys think?
